by Mia Shin on November 23, 2011Seconds from the hustle and bustle of Westwood Village and minutes from Beverly Hills is the gorgeous Hotel Bel Air, just unveiled this fall. After two years of extensive renovation, it reopened to mixed reviews.
Amidst the lush green foliage backdrop, the pink looks warm and tropical. Much of the exterior looks the same. It still resembles what once was the best hideaway for the tycoons, moguls and starlets to escape the Hollywood haze unnoticed.

Hotel Bel Air: Los Angeles Icon to Receive Hollywood Facelift
by Kim Schramm on August 10, 2011In 1946, The Hotel Bel Air nestled in the prestigious Stone Canyon neighborhood opened it’s doors with 91 rooms in total. As you drive up to the hotel, you pass through multi million dollar estates crowned by beautiful trees in a majestic setting. An interesting fact was that the property was originally built for offices and stables. Then it was turned into a paradise within the city. As you walk over the bridge, you can hear the swans playing from their lake that weaves its way around the property. A funny detail is that the swans are infamous for their mating calls and have interrupted or added some color to the many outdoor weddings from the gazebo.

However, many are unaware that Carmageddon will actually continue past the July 18th deadline. The freeway will not be closed during the daytime, but the I-405 will be completely shut down for four nights straight.
